Approval for Restaurants
As one of the very few places on earth from where we are able to taste cuisines from all over the world, Dubai is counted as one of the very few places on earth where we can do so.The reason why tourists like to visit places like Dubai as well as businessmen are setting up new restaurant chains in this city is because of the fact that there are lots of tourists here.A survey conducted by DM Dubai in 2015 and 2016 stated that nearly 2000 restaurants have been opened in Dubai during 2015 and 2016, which can give an idea of the scope and size of the restaurant business in Dubai. I would like to emphasize, however, that setting up your own restaurant in Dubai cannot be considered as an easy task as it may seem to some people, especially if you are trying to transfer your business.
The food safety standards in Dubai are in alignment with the food safety standards in the United States, Australia, and Hong Kong, which shows that Dubai is meeting the expectations of the United Nations when it comes to food safety, showing how the authorities of Dubai are attempting to meet international standards.You can now avail a complete set of instructions if you are interested in starting your own restaurant business in Dubai. This is provided by Dubai Municipality Portal and you need to follow these instructions in order to obtain a Restaurant Approval from it. Dubai’s Food Safety Department is responsible for overseeing this process.

• Trade license copy of the Tenant (or marque reservation and Initial trade license copy)
• Copy of Ejari
• NOC from Building owner/real estate/management
• Affection set up (plot drawing)
• AED “as per company” (DCD FEE)
• Existing and projected drawings (as per new requirements)

• Existing architectural plan (2hrs Fire-rated enclose Red color,1hr in Blue)
• Proposed architectural plan (2hrs Fire-rated enclose Red color,1hr in Blue)
• Flooring layout (eg:-ceramic, parquet, carpet…)
• Ceiling layout (eg:- 60×60 mineral title, plain mineral, aluminum…..etc)
• Furniture/equipment layout
• Section (showing vertical dimension)
• Cover sheet (we can add)
• Existing mechanical device layout (sprinkler pipes are in green color and mechanical device head in Red color)
• Proposed mechanical device layout (sprinkler pipes are in green color and mechanical device head in Red color)
• Existing smoke/heat detector layout (circuits area unit in Red color)
• Proposed smoke/heat detector layout (circuits area unit in Red color)
